On March 31, 2012 hackers led by the infamous Anonymous will takedown the Internet for one day to showcase the power and reach capabilities of hackers to disable the WWW – World Wide Web – Internet.

Some may say this cannot be done but anyone who doubts any hacktivist networks led by Anonymous is foolish in the extreme. Simply because no one is really sure of the full array of tools and digital weapons that hackers have in their armory.
Here is a brief statement on the planned – Operation Global Blackout – quote – ‘It’s not designed to kill the Internet, but to temporarily take it down to prove the hackers’ point.’ – more – Geeks believe the main attack tool they plan to use ‘RAMP’ will do a lot of damage but whether it has the capabilities to close down the 13 root Domain Name Servers – DNS – of the Internet – we will have to wait and see!
